Raptor 1000
The major version, which came into production first in 2000 and released in 2006 , was produced in one series but in multiple versions, normal, V-Raptor (aesthetically identical to the Xtra Raptor) and "Xtra Raptor" (accessorized version of carbon parts and adjustable suspension.
In 2001 the Xtra Raptor was introduced. in 2004 , a prototype named X3 Raptor was introduced that had never been released. All the 1000 raptors were equipped with a Japanese Suzuki (TL1000) engine used in Superbike for a short time. The Xtra Raptor has a plate that shows the numbering of the bike, which was produced in a limited series. The numbering had to go from 1/999 to 999/999. The Xtra Raptor also compared to the normal version had an adjustable marzocchi fork and an adjustable sachs monoshock.
All the engines had liquid cooling and the braking system consisted of two disc brakes on the front (only the 125 cm³ version had a single disc on the front axle) and a single one on the rear. In common to all models, regardless of displacement, the presence of an upside-down fork (from 40 mm for the "small" version, from 43 mm for the others) and a single shock absorber at the rear.
Handling and power are the natural qualities of this bike that integrates style and performance in its purest form, especially in the "V-Raptor" version, which had 77.5 Kw with only 194 kg of weight. Of the V-1000 version, unofficial sources say that about 300 V-Raptor 1000s were produced, while some 600 and 1000 were produced by the Xtra, as was thought and reported to the press when the bike was presented.
