Piaggio skipper

The Piaggio Skipper is a large scooter built by the Italian vehicle manufacturer Piaggio between 1993 and 2002.
The skipper was introduced in May 1993 in Nice. But since the name Skipper was protected by trademark law in Germany, the vehicles were initially offered under the name SKR. The version with 150 cm³ presented in June 1993 was revised in 1994 and was only available in Germany at the end of 1996, whereby all models with a new seat, darker plastic parts, more modern lettering and new colors were upgraded optically. The production was stopped in 1997.
In 1998 the models Skipper LX 125 and Skipper LXT 150 were released . Until 1999 air-cooled single-cylinder two-stroke engines were available with 125 cc and 150 cc of the previous model, from 2000 air-cooled four-stroke engines Leader generation with 125 cc and 150 cc installed and a new headlamp and a multifunction display.
