The Piaggio X9 is a large scooter of the Italian vehiclemanufacturer Piaggio . Production started in 2000. In 2003 there was already the first facelift (model addition Evolution). In 2009, the production was discontinued.
The scooter weighs 179 kilograms in the 125cc version and has a 15 hp engine. The registered maximum speed is 105 km / h.More powerful are the 180 cc Amalfi, 250 cc and 459 cc (X9-500) models with up to 39 hp.
All models have a two-part cockpit (analog round instruments and an on-board computer as a display in the handlebar). The models without ABS have the integral brake system with two front brake discs.
Under the seat is a relatively large storage space for this vehicle class. Furthermore, the scooter has a storage compartment in the front panel for gloves or other trifles and a small, non-lockable storage compartment on the left side of the cockpit. The Piaggio X9 has about 15.5 liters of tank capacity and the average consumption is about 3 to 3.5 liters per 100 kilometers
